Accommodations

This unique, two stateroom arrangement allows for two separate, private cabins both with double island berths. Both feature inner-spring, pillow-top mattresses. The master, forward, features a pedestal bed, hanging lockers, port and starboard, an overhead portlight. There are directional reading lights, opening side ports, a flat panel TV, am/fm stereo, cd, and controls for ac/heat.

The guest cabin, to starboard and beneath the dinette features, in addition to the raised double berth, a port light, hanging lockers and ample luggage compartments. There is directional lighting, a mirrored headboard and storage ledges surrounding the right side.

The 391 features a split head arrangement. To port is a toilet and vanity sink. The toilet is Vacu-Flush. It is accessible privately from the master or as a day head. The separate shower is also accessible from either the master, or from the passageway from the salon.

Salon and Galley

Entering the salon through the substantial sliding glass door, which has a sliding screen door as well, you find, aft and to port, hi-gloss stacked cabinetry. At the top, at eye-level and lighted, you find the very complete ac and dc electrical panel. Below that is the ample, flat-panel TV. Below that is the salon ice maker, and a storage compartment.

Continuing forward there are two fixed comfortable chairs separated by a table/ledge with storage beneath. Above, and on both sides you will note the double-tiered windows that provide panoramic views, whether seated or standing. There is one, pop-out, watertight opening window on either side to help provide ventilation.

Forward, still, is the very complete galley. It features an L-shaped, solid surface countertops. There is a single stainless sink with wand-faucet; a two burner electric stove, recessed under a solid surface lid, a built-in microwave/convection oven, and a large, under-counter fridge. There are ample storage compartments including cabinetry, a lazy susan and drawers, plus an in-floor pantry. The flooring is teak and holly. The carpets are berber. There are carpet runners throughout the salon.

Across from the galley is the raised, roomy C-shaped dinette. It converts to a sleeper for 1 1/2 with a fill-in cushion. Aft of the dinette is the comfortable L-shaped Flex-steel lounge, which quickly converts to another, ample berth. There is a large, hi-lo dining table in front of it.

Reverse cycle A/C is provided by two units located within the flybridge brow, for quiet, and ducted through the sculpted, rich looking ceiling for maximum air disbursement.

Cockpit and Foredeck

Boarding via the large integrated swim platform, you find a recessed swim ladder, and a dedicated covered chase protecting the shore power cord and preventing tripping. The transom features two built-in dunnage boxes and a transom door to port.

In the roomy cockpit, you'll note a comfortable, forward-facing sea with sunbrella cover. There are dedicated fender lockers to port and starboard, which also form steps to the gunnels.

Under the cockpit sole is a huge storage compartment which also houses the Onan 9 kw, genset w/ 610 Hrs.

Starboard of the salon door is a staircase to the bridge which raises on gas shocks to provide easy access to the engine room. Recessed into the port bulkhead is another large storage compartment.

Accessing the bow from either side is a breeze, with the step up, well placed and secure grab rails, and generous siderails. The foredeck features recessed areas for the forward deck sun cushions. There are recessed drink holders, port and starboard.

The bow area features well placed fore cleats, a windlass, remote spotlight and compartments to access the windlass, and a foredeck washdown.

Manufacturer Provided Description

Knowing that some family cruisers look like minivans, Meridian designed its 391 Sedan to bring the styling and performance of a sportscar to the class without losing any practical features.

This attractive yacht's sleek profile conceals a wide-open salon with warm cherry-wood interior, premium-gloss finish, homelike seating arrangements and 360-degree views of the horizon. She also features a dedicated dinette and fully-equipped galley that are seamlessly integrated into the main living space, two large staterooms and separate shower and head compartments, each with its own vanity and sink.

The flybridge's distinctive overhang offers more space topside as well as cockpit weather protection, and its molded-in steps are hinged to provide direct engine-room access. Why settle for a floating box on the water when you can enjoy all the style, performance and comfort of the 391.
