Introduced in 2003, the revised "new and improved" Sea Ray 340 Sundancer replaced the previous 340 Sundancer (1999–2002)—a popular model in the Sea Ray fleet for several years. Wider in the beam than her predecessor, with a newly designed cockpit and a deep-V hull, the sleek styling of the 340 Sundancer conceals an interior that seems remarkably spacious for a 34-foot boat. The cabin is well lit with seven ports and overhead hatches, and the upscale decor is accented with rich cherry cabinets and earth tone fabrics and upholstery. The layout is typical of most Sundancer interiors with a pedestal berth forward and convertible settees in the salon and midcabin area. Corian counters and quality hardware are found in the galley, and privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Semicircular lounge seating is aft in the cockpit, and an electric hatch lifts to reveal a rather compact engine compartment. The helm is notable for its excellent design and good visibility. A premium express finished to very high standards, Twin 8.1 liter MerCruiser Horizon 370hp V-drive inboards cruise the Sea Ray 340 Sundancer at 24–25 knots and reach a top speed in the low 30s.
Currently 3rd owner. The 2nd owner had her for 15 years. She’s been back and forth to the Bahamas numerous times and is quite comfortable to live aboard for weeks or day trips to the sandbar.
The Sea Ray 340 Sundancer features high performance, comfort, and quality, combined in one sleek cruising package. Powered by twin 8.1L Horizon MerCruisers w/ V-drives, the 340 Sundancer has plenty of power. Her sleeping accommodations for six means ample accommodations for family and friends.
